Using NIRS & Metabolic Analysis As Complimentary Assessment Tools
A Case Study Featuring Sean Seale Of Upside Strength
Today i’m joined by Sean Seale of Upside Strength to discuss testing results from a physiologic assessment that Sean recently performed on himself using the Moxy muscle oxygenation monitors and VO2 Master metabolic analyzer.
In this video Sean and I will dive into his data to parse out his underlying physiologic limiters, as well as explain the thought process we use to come to these conclusions. Additionally, we spend some time discussing potential training interventions he can use to improve his performance as well as practical takeaways for coaches and athletes interested in performing this type of analysis themselves.
Before wrapping up I want to give a huge thanks to Sean for joining me in this episode and providing the data for this case study. If you’d like to learn more about what Sean is up to you can follow him at Upside Strength. Additionally, I highly recommend the Upside Strength podcast as well for anyone interested in applied physiology and improving their coaching prescriptions.
